Job Overview:

Home Surplus is seeking a Strategic Growth Specialist to drive new customer acquisition and increase share of account among high-potential Pros via prospecting, self-generating leads, uncovering prospects' pain, and communicating solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect consistently for new customers via telephone and electronic outreach, face-to-face solicitation in the field, and rapid follow-up to company-generated leads and prospect inquiries.
  • Self-generate leads through market analysis, referrals, creative instincts, and hustle.
  • Uncover prospects' pain and communicate solutions that drive Pros to Home Surplus.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in retail or distribution/supply, not manufacturing.
  • Must have a depth and breadth of understanding of residential construction/renovation and related building products.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Foundational professional selling and business development skills.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
