About the Role:

The Registered Dietitian at Menorah Park is responsible for assessing the nutritional needs of clients/patients and developing personalized dietary plans to promote their overall health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' nutritional needs, taking into account their medical condition, lifestyle, and personal preferences.
  • Develop and implement tailored dietary plans to meet clients' specific goals, such as weight loss, disease management, or performance enhancement.
  • Provide education and counseling to clients/patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting dietary plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all assessments, interventions, and recommendations.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist.
  • Certification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Registration.
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
