Job Description Summary

The Lead Engineer for Human Factors Engineering will drive the application of Human Systems Integration principles and design methods to maximize human performance in assigned programs.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for understanding the interactions between humans and other system elements.
  • Applies theory, principles, data, and methods within the engineering design process to ensure proper interaction between products, systems, and processes and the people who use them.
  • Human factors Engineering is concerned with the fit between the user, equipment, and their environments, taking into account the user's capabilities and limitations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintainability: Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and using prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers and using this understanding to accomplish own work.
  • Provides informal guidance to new team members.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Design Engineering.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
