About the Position:

Wells Fargo is on the lookout for an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers to provide an outstanding experience by establishing connections through proactive outreach and recommending suitable products, services, and digital solutions to support their financial success.
  • Assist clients with fundamental inquiries regarding account openings, service requests, and credit applications.
  • Follow guidance from management while exercising discretion within established policies and procedures.
  • Gain insights into banking products and services to align with customer needs.
  • Interact with clients to demonstrate genuine care and foster strong relationships.
  • Offer suitable options for banking products and services tailored to customer requirements.
  • Refer clients' financial needs to appropriate bankers and partners as necessary.
  • This SAFE position involves customer interaction and responsibilities that may include offering or negotiating terms and processing applications for secured transactions, necessitating compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong customer service orientation with experience managing complex transactions across various systems.
  • Proven ability to proactively engage with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Capability to educate customers on technology and the benefits of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to assist customers in achieving financial success by connecting them with additional team members as needed.
  • Experience collaborating with a team to fulfill customer needs.
  • Proficient in building and nurturing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to establish solid connections with internal partners.
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Skill in identifying potential fraud or risky accounts and taking appropriate preventive measures.
  • Professional and respectful interaction with customers and team members.
  • Relevant military experience in personnel management or human resources is a plus.
  • Expertise in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Support for customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
Job Expectations:
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include Saturdays.
  • Maintaining cash drawer accuracy and handling service-related tasks as necessary.
  • This position requires SAFE registration upon employment, with the registration process initiated immediately after starting.
  • This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
