Regulatory Audit Lead - Financial Oversight

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regulatory Audit Lead, you will:

  • Conduct ongoing risk evaluations to identify critical risks affecting regulatory reports and assist in developing and maintaining the audit strategy to address these risks.
  • Contribute to the formulation and enhancement of a comprehensive multi-year strategy for auditing U.S. regulatory reports.
  • Assist in defining the scope for individual regulatory audits by assessing risks associated with specific sub-schedules and designing a thorough audit methodology.
  • Execute various regulatory audits, ensuring that documentation is precise, impactful, and timely.
  • Monitor the status of regulatory and internal audit issue validation.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and emerging risks, contributing to the calibration of the audit plan.
  • Provide specialized training to team members on regulatory reporting topics.

  • Capability to comprehend complex subjects and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Capacity to build rapport with management while maintaining independence.
  • Proficient in drafting comprehensive audit reports and communicating findings effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred.
  • Expertise in audit practices within the financial services sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with U.S. regulatory reporting standards.
  • Experience in conducting end-to-end substantive testing of data elements.
  • Background in a Big 4 firm, particularly in external audit or consulting.
  • Experience in workflow evaluation and data analysis.

Work Schedule:

Standard business hours.
