City of Hope is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team in the Operating Room. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical and endoscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and proceduralists during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring that necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment are readily available.
- Maintain sterile techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches in sterile technique.
- Assist with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies, and participate in turnover processes, stocking of rooms, and proper care of instruments.
- Post-high school vocational/specialized training or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience scrubbing major and/or endoscopic cases in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS certification and CST (Surgical Technologist Certification) by an accredited organization (highly preferred).
