Position Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Event Service Professionals to join our team. As an integral part of our event staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and enjoyable experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass providing top-notch service, from food and beverage service to guest assistance, contributing to the overall success of each event.

Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally, adhering to established serving guidelines and ensuring proper food handling and presentation.
  • Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging tables and chairs, preparing place settings, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Participate in post-event cleanup, clearing tables, and storing equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and coordinated service. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain smooth event operations.
  • Guest Assistance: Assist guests with seating arrangements, coat check, and any special requests. Address and resolve guest concerns or issues professionally and promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety and health regulations, including alcohol service guidelines. Adhere to the dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Efficiency: Serve guests efficiently, maintain food and beverage supplies, and ensure a smooth flow of events. Handle high-pressure situations with grace and adapt to changes in event schedules.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality or event industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or items as required.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and safety guidelines.
