Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential HVAC Installation Team Lead to join our team at BluFlame Service Co. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Lead and oversee the installation and maintenance of residential HVAC systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to concerns, explaining technical concepts clearly, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of installation teams.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, installation teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC Journeyman license, EPA Certification).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in residential HVAC installation, with a proven track record of leadership and customer service.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to customer sites, and occasional work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces). The ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions is essential.
