About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team at MountainView Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures. This includes preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide patient care
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Registered or registry eligible in one of the following: A.R.R.T.(N), N.M.T.C.B., or A.S.C.P
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification
  • One year of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field preferred
