Job Title: Field Communications Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing communications equipment and systems in a Integrated Communications Inc. Service Center or at a customer site. This includes limited testing, repairing, modifying, and installing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing functional and 'on-the-air' tests of communication equipment
  • Repairing customer units by replacing defective modules or components
  • Making minor modifications to electronic circuitry per customer requests and/or factory updates
  • Installing communications and parts as necessary
  • Communicating with customers, installers, and/or area field technical representatives
  • Operating company-owned vehicles

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic knowledge of audio, RF, digital, and microprocessor electronic circuits found in communications equipment
  • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Ability to operate fixed and adjustable measuring and testing equipment
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to be available for emergency work at any time of day or night

Compensation and Benefits:
  • A competitive base salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
