Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Associate to join our team. As a key member of our primary care team, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide high-quality care and support. Your expertise will be essential in assessing patients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and providing psychoeducation and intervention strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide psychoeducation and intervention strategies to patients and families
  • Collaborate with primary healthcare providers to detect and treat mental health conditions
  • Assess patients' clinical status and determine the most appropriate level of care
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in Electronic Health/Medical Record systems

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Marital and Family Therapy, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program
  • At least two years' experience providing psychotherapy (CBT-based models preferred) with children, adults, and adolescents
  • Active Registration with the BBS as a pre-licensed ACSW or AMFT or Active Registration with the Board of Psychology as a post-doctoral pre-licensed Psychologist
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite
