About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lyon Martin Health Services. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health care services to our clients.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and experience working with diverse populations. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating mental health conditions, as well as providing medication management and substance use disorder treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose mental health conditions through individual patient sessions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Provide medication management and substance use disorder treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client interactions and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Psychiatric Nursing program
  • Licensure as a Psych NP in California
  • At least 2 years of experience in safety planning with actively suicidal clients
  • Experience working in a community clinic setting
  • Knowledge of Bay Area mental health resources
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish/English fluency
  • Experience using Epic electronic health record system
Salary and Benefits

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
