About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and business-savvy Executive Director to join our team at Vista Terrace of Belmont, a beautiful retirement community. As the leader of our community, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and services, while promoting a positive relationship and rapport with staff, residents, and family members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all community operations and quality of care and services
  • Manage the community's budget and cash flow, ensuring financial stability and minimizing negative budget variances and deficits
  • Supervise, direct, and motivate all department directors, supervisors, and staff, maintaining training and morale
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales and operations strategies and tactics for the community, consistent with the company's objectives
  • Understand and support the Resident Care Program, regularly meeting with the Clinical Department head to discuss and address issues or concerns
  • Execute the renewal-retention program with existing residents through a proactive approach
  • Provide leadership for staff and residents, proactively solving problems and issues
  • Maintain positive relationships with Cogir Senior Living corporate staff and external partners
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services, or a combination of education and experience in a supervisory role in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership role at a senior living operation
  • Licensed Administrator (if required by state regulations) in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state license requirements
  • Compliance and understanding of all federal, state, and local regulations regarding residents' rights
  • Successful history of building teams and meeting financial goals
  • Knowledge of various computer systems, and CRM software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A high degree of accuracy in all assignments, integrity, and ability to manage time effectively
  • Outstanding communication skills, and the ability to motivate
  • Capacity to work evenings and/or weekends, and be on-call 24/7
