About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and business-savvy Executive Director to join our team at Vista Terrace of Belmont. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of community operations and ensuring the highest standards of care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the community, including managing staff, budgets, and resources.
  • Quality of Care: Maintain a high level of quality care and services, ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the community's financial stability, managing budgets, cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, direct, and motivate department directors, supervisors, and staff, maintaining training and morale.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Maintain a high degree of resident satisfaction through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Sales and Operations: Lead the development and implementation of sales and operations strategies and tactics for the community, consistent with the company's objectives.
  • Care Regulations: Understand and support the Resident Care Program, regularly meeting with the Clinical Department head to discuss and address issues or concerns.
  • Renewal-Retention: Execute the renewal-retention program with existing residents through a proactive approach.
  • Property Management: Maintain the building grounds and property through the oversight of preventative maintenance systems and programs, and frequent inspections.
Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, nursing, or human services is preferred, or a combination of education and experience in a supervisory role in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a progressive leadership role at a senior living operation is required.
  • Licenses: Must be a Licensed Administrator (if required by state regulations) in good standing and/or meet all applicable federal and state license requirements.
  • Skills: Compliance and understanding of all federal, state, and local regulations regarding residents' rights, successful history of building teams and meeting financial goals, knowledge of various computer systems, and CRM software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Qualities: A positive team player attitude, love working with people, compassion for our residents, and a strong passion for excellence.
