Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry unit at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients primarily diagnosed with respiratory failure and cardiac conditions.

About the Role

This is a full-time night shift position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including access to our 54,000 square foot Health and Fitness Center, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry unit
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State, as well as AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire and AHA ACLS certification within six months of hire. One year of experience as a RN is preferred.
