Nursing Team Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Team Coordinator to join our team at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our PCU/Telemetry unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and utilize advanced monitoring technology to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes patient well-being and provides a supportive environment for growth and development.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing direct patient care and contributing to the development of individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Utilizing advanced monitoring technology to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Participating in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications and requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS required within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
