Nurse Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry unit at Haywood Regional Medical Center. As a Nursing Team Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience in a PCU/Telemetry setting preferred.
