Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Convention Sales Coordinator to join our team at Visit Tampa Bay. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Chief Sales Officer and Account Directors.

  • Utilize technology, including CRM customized databases, Microsoft Office products, and Adobe Illustrator, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with proposal creation, lead generation, and participation in FAMS and Site events.
  • Support group business development and assist with trade show preparation.
  • Monitor budget spending and process invoices to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Prepare presentations and support committee meetings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience and above-average technology skills.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent hospitality, Convention Center, or DMO experience.
  • A friendly, attentive, and welcoming demeanor at all times.
