Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • HR Compliance: Stay informed about changes in labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and conduct surveys to assess employee satisfaction and morale.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Compile and analyze HR metrics to provide insights into workforce trends. Prepare regular reports for senior management on HR key performance indicators.
  • HR Technology Management: Utilize HRIS to manage employee data and generate reports. Evaluate and recommend improvements to HR systems and processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience as a Sr. HR Generalist, including experience in recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Experience within a union manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience with self-insured benefit plan administration, reporting, and auditing is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance issues is essential.
