- Training and Development: Support employee development initiatives and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Compensation and Benefits: Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- HR Compliance: Stay informed about changes in labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and conduct surveys to assess employee satisfaction and morale.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Compile and analyze HR metrics to provide insights into workforce trends. Prepare regular reports for senior management on HR key performance indicators.
- HR Technology Management: Utilize HRIS to manage employee data and generate reports. Evaluate and recommend improvements to HR systems and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience as a Sr. HR Generalist, including experience in recruiting, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Experience within a union manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Previous experience with self-insured benefit plan administration, reporting, and auditing is a plus.
- A solid understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance issues is essential.
