Job Title: Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Division: U.S. Energy

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis initiatives to drive business growth and profitability. This individual will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, identifying trends and opportunities, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Prepare presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
  • Champion the FP&A effort amongst the accounting team.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
  • Champion continuous improvement of the financial forecasting and budgeting process.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain the Anaplan volumes model, division-specific reporting, and continued model building function.
  • Actively analyze and assist Treasury in cash flow trends to ensure the company manages debt effectively.
  • Hire, train, develop, and evaluate direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership capabilities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communicator and presentation skills along with the ability to influence others.
  • Strong experience in Anaplan.
  • Supervisory skills and demonstrated ability to work with a diverse organization where group interaction, communication, and human relations are critical.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and/or CPA.
