Position Overview:

The Clinical Dietitian at Menorah Park plays a vital role in evaluating the dietary requirements of clients and formulating tailored nutrition strategies to enhance their health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the nutritional requirements of individuals, considering their health status, lifestyle choices, and dietary preferences.
  • Design and execute customized nutrition plans aimed at achieving specific objectives, such as weight management, chronic disease control, or athletic performance.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients on effective nutrition practices and healthy eating behaviors.
  • Track and assess clients' progress, modifying nutrition plans as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Keep precise and current records of all evaluations, interventions, and suggestions.
  • Remain informed about the latest advancements and research in nutrition and dietetics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related discipline.
  • Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist in New York State.
  • Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a dietetic role.
