  • Prepare and set up signage, barriers, and other equipment for work sites as required.
  • Repair and maintain signage and traffic control materials to guarantee they are in optimal working condition.
  • Keep the supply yard and workshop organized and clean by returning tools and equipment to their designated places.
  • Assist in various areas as needed to support the maintenance of vehicles, grounds, and facilities, including cleaning and organizing the plant.
  • Engage in additional projects and initiatives that contribute to the organization's objectives and outcomes.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
  • None
Education, Certifications & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience required.
  • Valid For Hire Endorsement with medical certification and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Company forklift license.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience with hand tools is preferred.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and report any safety violations.
  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and exhibit self-motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Strong capability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to various situations and work different hours, including weekends and/or evenings.
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to retain information for efficient task execution.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
  • While performing the duties of this role, the employee may need to use ladders and work at heights requiring safety precautions. The employee will be expected to stand for extended periods while assembling road equipment, necessitating the use of hands for various tasks such as handling, feeling, and reaching. The role also requires stooping, kneeling, walking, talking, and hearing. Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds or more with assistance may be necessary. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • This position will primarily work in an enclosed workshop environment but may involve travel to external locations, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) based on the situation. This may include dust masks, safety glasses, hard hats, ear protection, high-visibility vests and/or pants, and/or steel-toed footwear. In some cases, client-specific PPE may also be required.
