Compensation:

Must hold a valid driver's license

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Paramedic Technician, you will provide essential first aid and coordinate the transport of individuals who are ill or injured to appropriate medical facilities, collaborating as a key member of an emergency medical response team.

Your responsibilities will also include conducting regular patrols to ensure safety and security, inspecting safety equipment, and maintaining order while enforcing regulations relevant to personnel and visitors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver first aid treatment and determine the need for further medical assistance based on assessments of the situation.
  • Administer prescribed first aid procedures at the site of emergencies, including the application of splints and administration of oxygen.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals to facilitate further treatment and ensure proper reception of patients.
  • Manage access to facilities, assisting visitors while maintaining security protocols.
  • Provide a welcoming environment for all employees and visitors, ensuring a positive interaction that reflects the values of Securitas Inc.
  • Monitor and control entrances and exits, preventing unauthorized access and ensuring safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Document incidents and prepare reports as required, maintaining accurate logs of activities.
  • Respond to various emergencies, including medical crises and security threats, while executing EMT-related duties.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Possess reliable communication and transportation means.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • High School Diploma or GED; willingness to complete GED within six months if not already obtained.
  • Participation in pre-employment screening, including drug testing and background checks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. with a preference for candidates with one or more years of relevant experience in emergency medical services.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Candidates should demonstrate:
  • Ability to meet state and local certification requirements for EMT - Basic (EMT-1) level.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
