Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing direct patient care and transportation to medical facilities.
  • Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate medical care, including administering medications and performing procedures.
  • Operate emergency vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Texas.
  • CPR certification.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently.
  • Customer service skills.

  • Previous experience in emergency care.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Coping well under hazardous and high-stress situations.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.

Work Schedule

This Paramedic position can work a variety of schedules, including 8-hour shifts, 12-hours shifts, 24-hour shifts, and 48-hour shifts. We can accommodate a set school schedule, allowing you to balance your work and education responsibilities.
