Job Summary

The Paramedic is responsible for delivering high-quality pre-hospital care to patients of all ages, adhering to the standards set by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security - EMS Division and Parkview Health EMS Medical Director(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care using proper techniques and protocols.
  • Meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting 100 pounds and assisting with 300 pounds.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Meet the requirements for insurability under Parkview Health vehicle and liability insurance policies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional post-high school education desirable.
  • Valid Indiana State Paramedic certification/license and CPR certification required.
  • Valid driver's license and ACLS certification required.
  • One year of experience preferred.
