Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Savory Team Member to join our team at Tatte Holdings LLC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prep Cooks:
    • Follow prep lists created by chefs to ensure accurate and timely preparation of ingredients.
    • Label and stock all cooking ingredients to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
    • Complete all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Head Chef or other kitchen manager to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
    • Wash, chop, and sort ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats to maintain high-quality standards.
    • Measure quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients to ensure accurate flavor profiles.
    • Adhere to all relevant nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.
    • Keep track of ingredient inventory and collaborate with other kitchen and management staff to order resupply to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
    • Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
    • Ensure all food items are properly stored and easily accessible to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
    • Supervise food and cooling room temperatures to maintain optimal storage conditions.
    • Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Assist chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Line Cooks:
    • Execute techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure accurate and timely preparation of dishes.
    • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards to maintain high-quality dishes.
    • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients to ensure accurate flavor profiles.
    • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
    • Ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.
    • Actively set up and break down workstation and prepare for an upcoming shift to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
    • Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment to maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen.
    • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards to maintain high-quality dishes.
    • Assist chefs in preparing food and attending to any culinary tasks that arise to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Dishwashers:
    • Responsible for proper care and maintenance of the dish machine to ensure optimal kitchen operations.
    • Must keep a clean supply of dishware, glassware, silverware, and adequate supply of utensils and cookware throughout the shift to maintain a well-organized kitchen.
    • Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards for the entire kitchen and dish area to maintain a safe and healthy kitchen environment.
    Essential Functions/Working Conditions
    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
    • Able to grasp and reach overhead to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Must be able to lift, move, and carry 50+lbs to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
    • Must be able to work 8+ hours a day on feet to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
