Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team at MY SALON Suite Texas. As a key contributor to our growing company, you will be responsible for executing the efficient operation of facilities management activities, including procurement, inventory management, dispatching, deploying resources, and following up on work orders.

This role ensures that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards through effective coordination, quality control, and communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use ticketing software to respond to issues, deploy resources, and communicate resolution.
  • Coordinate routine preventative and as-needed maintenance of facilities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and various outsourced personnel to ensure maintenance issues are resolved to satisfaction and in accordance with service level agreements and not-to-exceed thresholds.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids, selecting vendors for approval as needed.
  • Own inventory management for on-site and off-site storage, ensuring accurate tracking and optimization of resources.
  • Procure facility-related supplies and services.
  • Manage site security monitoring systems, janitorial services, and utilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Adapt communication to effectively engage and collaborate with cross-departmental team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Use data and experience to drive effective decision-making.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience managing facility projects.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, planning and organization skills, and negotiation skills.
  • Good mathematical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use electronic databases to manage complex facility projects effectively – proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance activities, including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and salon equipment and maintenance repair.
  • Familiarity with Service Channel or comparable software preferred.
