About the Role

Alo Yoga is seeking an experienced corporate attorney to support its growing in-house legal department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support complex corporate transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, international franchise agreements, and strategic investments, from due diligence to negotiation and closing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, wholesale agreements, strategic partnerships, and other business transactions.
  • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other in-house corporate attorneys, including overseeing their work and managing legal expenses effectively.
  • Stay current on legal developments and industry trends related to corporate law.
  • Take ownership of legal compliance areas for the company, such as data privacy, employee stock appreciation rights, and corporate governance/formalities.
  • Join a growing team that supports all aspects of the business and work closely with other legal team members (including IP, litigation, real estate, employment, and compliance).
Requirements
  • 10-15+ years' experience in big law or another in-house role
  • Experience with IPO and public company filings is preferred
  • Retail and apparel experience is an added plus
  • J.D. from a top-tier law school
  • Admission to California bar
Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $250,000-$325,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position.
