Engineering Drafter

PrideStaff is seeking a skilled Engineering Drafter to join our team. As a global leader in the design and manufacturing of systems and components for drug and vaccine manufacturing, we offer a unique opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the development of innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to create accurate technical drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software like AutoCAD to create detailed drawings, diagrams, and documentation
• Consult with engineers and product designers to understand design specifications and product requirements
• Research and collect specifications and dimensions to incorporate into drawings
• Review drawings for accuracy, clarity, and conformance to engineering and manufacturing standards
• Communicate with team members and clients to resolve issues, answer questions, and ensure design intent is achieved

Requirements:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Inventor
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when producing technical drawings
• Ability to interpret rough sketches, technical specifications, and engineering instructions
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturing principles, materials, and processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of relevant experience as an Engineering Drafter
