Mental Health Care Specialist

Gpac is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Physician Assistant to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Manage medication regimens and adjust as needed based on patient responses.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families on mental health topics.
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized Physician Assistant program.
- Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the applicable state.
- Experience or a strong interest in mental health and psychiatry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Empathy and a commitment to patient-centered care.
