Job Title: Plant-Based Oil Production Supervisor
About the Role
The Plant-Based Oil Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refinery, maintaining a safe working environment, and adhering to environmental regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, as the supervisor will oversee a team of five employees and ensure they have the necessary tools and information to perform their jobs efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Employee Safety: The supervisor will lead by example and ensure a safe workplace, promoting a culture of safety and encouraging employees to report any near misses.
- Supervision: The supervisor will oversee the work of five employees, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Packaging and Scheduling: The supervisor will ensure timely delivery of products, coordinating with production managers and other teams to achieve this goal.
- Training and Development: The supervisor will oversee the training of new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Light Maintenance: The supervisor will perform light maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring the facility remains in good working condition.
- Cost Control: The supervisor will work to prevent injuries and reduce rework by promoting a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Management experience, preferably in a production environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Technical education in trades, project planning, and management.
- Good communicator and ability to develop a good rapport with employees at all levels.

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
