Job Title: Network Administrator II

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator II to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of our network systems. This role will also involve providing advanced technical support to end-users and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other related equipment.
  • Perform routine network updates, patches, and configurations.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Provide Level 2 support for network-related issues, escalating to Level 3 support or external vendors as needed.
  • Work closely with the IT Help Desk and other IT teams to resolve technical problems quickly and effectively.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of network incidents, changes, and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years help desk or PC-related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or a related role.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions in the English Language.
  • Ability to speak/read/write English.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, etc.
  • Proficiency in network security practices and tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS (Server & Workstation) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of PC hardware and printing systems.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Compensation Range: $62,700-$80,000. Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
