Are you looking for a challenging role in disaster recovery and business development? We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Program Manager at Tetra Tech, a leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in disaster recovery programs, including FEMA's Public Assistance Program, HUD's Community Development Block Grant Program, and other federal programs. They will be responsible for marketing Tetra Tech's disaster recovery program management and consulting services to other businesses in the disaster recovery space and federal government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage aspects of business development and client relations, including market assessments, client identification, and matching client needs with Tetra Tech technical capabilities.
  • Foster new and existing Tetra Tech client relationships with other businesses within the industry, with an emphasis on expanding Tetra Tech's disaster recovery client base nationally.
  • Develop business opportunities that meet Tetra Tech goals and objectives at a national or regional level.
  • Meet assigned goals and work closely with Tetra Tech technical staff to deliver high-quality, cost-effective work products for our clients.
  • Prepare proposals, project cost estimates, and client interview documents.
  • Successfully assist target clients in the planning and timely implementation of their projects.
  • Communicate with senior leadership staff from clients, including elected officials.
  • Interface with federal, state, and local officials as required to support clients' needs.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Support other Tetra Tech staff assigned to projects.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with federal disaster recovery grant programs, including FEMA's Public Assistance (FEMA PA), FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (FEMA HMGP), HUD's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-DR), U.S. Treasury, and other appropriate disaster recovery programs.
  • Experience with public speaking, including delivering presentations and facilitating meetings, as well as working with government officials and businesses within the disaster recovery industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good mathematical skills.
