Join Our Team as a Field Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Technician to join our team at Spectrum. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing services for our customers, providing world-class customer service, and working efficiently in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair services for residential customers
  • Provide technical support and education to customers on proper use of their Spectrum services and equipment
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using hand tools and navigating various working conditions and locations
  • Interpret analytics from soft tools such as meters and handheld devices, troubleshoot issues, and read, write, and speak the English language
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and safely operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments
Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and ability to accurately measure distances and work with hand tools
  • Communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, and responsible/reliable skills
  • Ability to lift up to 90 lbs, climb ladders to a height of 32 feet, and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions
  • Valid Driver's license with satisfactory driving record within company standards required
