Automotive Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Beaverhead Motorsports. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in servicing vehicles and growing your career in a positive and customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Setup new ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, and snowmobile units
- Perform regular preventive maintenance activities on equipment in the facility
- Conduct timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
- Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
- Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
- Participate in, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and lean initiatives and requirements
- Setup and install accessories on new units
- Must have mechanical and technical aptitude
- 1-3 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
- College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience using basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
- Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
- Must obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such as, forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry picker
