Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and organize staffing across all practice sites, including roles such as front desk personnel, call center agents, medical assistants, procedure schedulers, patient transport, authorization, credentialing, and radiology operations, as well as the colorectal surgery division.
  • Manage the physician scheduling framework to enhance patient appointment efficiency and monitor physician leave in accordance with contractual agreements.
  • Facilitate the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of personnel for practice roles, including payroll management and conducting exit interviews.
  • Supervise office managers and team leaders to ensure effective staff scheduling, encompassing check-in and check-out processes, leave management, overtime reduction, and coordination of extended hours staffing, such as weekend clinics.
  • Evaluate and enhance daily copayment metrics and outstanding balance collections, comparing anticipated versus actual revenue.
  • Conduct training sessions with staff to reinforce practice fundamentals, aiming to elevate patient satisfaction and overall patient experience.
  • Compile a monthly report detailing key performance indicators, challenges, IT needs, and staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Report directly to the partners and the Chief Operating Officer.

Employment Conditions:

  • A non-compete agreement is in place, restricting the practice administrator from employment with any gastrointestinal-related practice for a period of two years within a specified radius of the organization’s locations.
  • During employment, any additional job opportunities with other organizations require prior written approval from the appropriate practice office.
