About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our North Green River Rd (Evansville) location. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Provide best-in-class customer satisfaction by consistently adhering to customer experience key behaviors.
    • Develop a rapport with customers and have knowledge of account ownership.
    • Act with confidence in answering customer questions and finding solutions to customer issues.
    • Be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution.
    • Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all customer business confidential.
  • Operations
    • Perform daily office responsibilities to maintain the efficient operation of the office.
    • Maintain a balancing record that is in line with policy and have the ability to find and correct outages.
    • Maintain knowledge of bank policies and financial center procedures, and take responsibility to keep up to date on any changes.
    • Handle consumer and business customer problems with professionalism, directing more complex issues to leadership as necessary.
  • Referrals
    • Consistently meet or exceed sales referrals, as set by management.
    • Actively involve self in daily huddles, sales meetings, and staff meetings.
    • Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the complete line of Retail products and services offered.
    • Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and effectively refer customers to business partners for the selling of bank products and services.
    Requirements
    • High school diploma/GED.
    • Ability to perform advanced math functions.
    • Ability to present a professional image and interact comfortably and confidently with the public.
    • Ability to read and write well enough to communicate in both oral and written form.
    • Knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
    • Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making and diplomacy and tact in problem resolution.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and interact well with co-workers and management.
