Job Summary

The Senior Royalty Analyst will be a key contributor to the day-to-day operations within Royalty Operations, responsible for all royalty aspects of all artists across labels. This includes contract interpretation, coding & setup in the royalty system, managing and delivering accurate and timely royalty statements, managing and prioritizing suspense items, and responding to internal and external inquiries on the accounts and special projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Royalty Statement Administration
    • Prepare accounting statements as contractually required
    • Review sales and costs to ensure accuracy
    • Validate and prepare recoupment analyses as required
    • Coordinate statement review with Label and/or Affiliate personnel
  • Sales & Suspense Management
    • Run sales query and review results with Manager
    • Ensure all sales transactions are properly processed on a timely basis
    • Monitor sales files on a daily basis for activity related to assigned artists
    • Review and prioritize pending sales transactions for clearance by Label and/or Affiliate personnel
  • Inquiries & Special Projects
    • Serve as Point of Contact for internal and external inquiries related to assigned accounts
    • Provide Manager with status reports regarding assigned artist accounts
    • Support special projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • SAP, EROS, and JIRA experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and review information from several different sources
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent leadership skills
