Patient Care Technician

A Patient Care Technician provides basic healthcare and support to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provides basic patient care, including vital sign measurement, personal care, and hygiene.
- Assists patients with mobility, including unit-based specialty duties.
- Acts as a liaison between patients and nurses to report changes and concerns.
- Provides high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors, and employees.
- Accurately documents patient care and reports pertinent information.
- Must have completed a nursing aide training program or have a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
- Recent experience in acute care, physician's office, home health/hospice, or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
