About the Role

As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Orienting new patients to our unit and programs
  • Providing overnight security and monitoring patient activities
  • Facilitating patient adherence to rules and regulations
  • Assuring delivery of special diet orders to the kitchen
  • Coordinating external patient discharges with nursing and counseling staff
  • Completing unit filing and telephone back-up as other duties allow
  • Assisting with washing unit patient blankets and clothing
  • Maintaining cleanliness of units

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma
  • Experience providing customer service to the public
  • Previous experience in a residential or healthcare setting, preferably providing patient monitoring
