This is a remote position requiring travel to various client sites as needed. Ideal candidates will be located in the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately complete work orders and service reports in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the appropriate contacts at client locations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for safety and environmental compliance.
  • Maintain the service vehicle in optimal condition, stocked appropriately, and compliant with manufacturer specifications.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness at client sites and in the workshop.
  • Assist in the workshop as needed or as directed by management.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and courteously in all traffic conditions.
  • Report any customer issues to management and sales teams.
  • Promote additional products and services effectively.
  • Utilize company resources responsibly while performing job duties.
  • Represent Stryten Energy professionally in all interactions.
  • Regularly operate forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks as part of the role.
  • Conduct service calls to repair energy storage systems and related equipment efficiently.
  • Ensure all relevant information is communicated to the appropriate personnel at client locations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting and repairing various equipment.
  • Seek out new business opportunities.
  • Propose and implement improvements to work processes.
  • Engage with various levels of clients and management to provide support and improvement suggestions.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities, with the capacity to work independently.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; one to three years of experience in battery service or field service is preferred.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance is advantageous.
  • Certification to operate a forklift is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, and perform other physical activities.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly and up to 150 lbs with assistance as needed.
  • Regular use of safety glasses is required; close vision is necessary.

Work Environment

  • Work environment characteristics are representative of those encountered while performing essential functions of the job.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles is common.
  • Regular exposure to high places, toxic chemicals, and electrical hazards.
  • Noise levels may vary from minimal to loud.
  • Work surroundings can range from clean to dirty.
