Energy Efficiency Program Manager

Willdan Energy Company is seeking a skilled Account Manager to drive participation in Commercial Energy Programs. This remote position requires the candidate to be located in Massachusetts or New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of energy efficiency programs for commercial clients.
  • Provide administrative oversight for multiple utility partner programs.
  • Collaborate with C-Suite executives, facility managers, and other key stakeholders to promote energy-efficient solutions.
  • Develop and close sales with small and mid-sized business customers through utility-sponsored incentive programs and multi-family building programs.
  • Recruit and consult with the existing contractor network within the territory.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Knowledge of local laws and energy conservation codes is preferred.
  • Experience working on successful energy efficiency programs, with expertise in energy efficiency technologies and products, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key market actors, including utility clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and non-profit officials.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy Efficiency, Engineering, Sustainability, Communications, or related disciplines, with 1+ year(s) of professional experience in energy efficiency, building sciences, HVAC, Account Management, or related fields.

  • High School Diploma with 5+ years of professional experience in energy efficiency, building sciences, HVAC, Account Management, or related fields.
