About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Tech II to join our team in the Labor and Delivery Unit at Morristown Medical Center. This per diem position offers varied 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scrub for all surgical cases in L&D, ensuring a smooth and efficient operating environment.
  • Manage and maintain all equipment, supplies, and inventory in the ORs, guaranteeing optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
  • Transport instruments to and from Sterile processing, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist nurses in transporting patients to the Maternity Floor, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with OB techs to ensure adequate supplies, cleaning, and stocking, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
  • Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA required.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a hospital setting preferred.
