We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Tech II to join our team in the Labor and Delivery Unit at Morristown Medical Center. This is a per diem position with varied 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities- Scrub for all surgical cases in L&D, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Manage and maintain all equipment, supplies, and inventory in the ORs, ensuring optimal functionality and minimizing downtime.
- Transport instruments to and from Sterile Processing, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Assist nurses in transporting patients to the Maternity Floor, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with OB techs to ensure seamless supply management, cleaning, and stocking of equipment and materials.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
- Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA required.
- 1-2 years' experience in a hospital setting preferred.
