Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and leading our nursing staff in their daily practice.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of assigned patients, evaluate their plans of care, and document nursing interventions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Leadership and Supervision: Oversee and guide nursing staff in their daily practice, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Medication Administration and Management: Safely administer medications and maintain accurate records related to medications and treatments.
- Discharge Planning and Transition of Care: Collaborate with patients and families to develop discharge plans and ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Professional Development and Growth: Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of our nursing team.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Certification and Licensing: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology, nursing care methods, and health and safety guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
