Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider Fellow to join our team at the University of Miami's Desai Sethi Urology Institute. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain specialized training in the management of sexual dysfunction, infertility, and hormone replacement in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete rotations in clinical settings, including outpatient and operative settings, to gain hands-on experience in men's health care.
  • Develop and strengthen proficiencies in clinical settings while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
  • Participate in training programs in sexual dysfunction, male infertility, hormone replacement, and clinical research.
  • Contribute to the development of leaders in the field of men's health through education, mentoring, and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing with approved APRN curriculum or higher.
  • Florida licensure as APRN from the Florida Board of Nursing.
  • Board certification as APRN from a nationally accredited organization, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
  • Current certification in BLS, Medical Errors (HIV/AIDS & Domestic Violence), and CITI certification upon employment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good interpersonal relationships.
  • Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft.
