Position Overview

As an essential member of our team, APRNs play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical services, focusing on prevention, health promotion, and long-term health maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

APRNs are responsible for:
  • Coordinating comprehensive patient care.
  • Diagnosing health conditions and monitoring changes in patient health.
  • Adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Administering medications and evaluating treatment responses.
  • Consulting with other healthcare professionals and leading within the clinical environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an APRN.
  • Experience in gastroenterology is preferred.
  • Active State of Florida License as an ARNP.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
  • Ability to practice autonomously while serving as a leader within the healthcare team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Capability to remain calm and use sound judgment in emergency situations.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the community.
  • Skill in explaining complex medical information in an understandable manner.
  • Excellent observational and assessment capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, push, pull, reach, bend, sit, stoop, and stretch.
  • Proficiency in operating a computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds.
  • Normal hearing and vision range, including color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and experience with common office equipment and electronic medical record systems. Familiarity with eClinical Works is advantageous.

  • Completion of a Criminal Background Check.
