Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Safety Attendant to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients by providing continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient observation and monitoring to prevent falls and accidental or intentional self-harm.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure a safe and risk-free patient environment.
  • Assist with basic activities of daily living and perform other duties as needed.
  • Document patient status and activity during the shift.
  • Participate in hospital or departmental performance improvement activities and seek opportunities to improve department and inter-department processes.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (required).
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (must be obtained within 60 days of hire or start in position).
