Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Attendant PRN to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous observation and monitoring for high-risk patients to prevent falls and accidental or intentional self-harm.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure a safe and risk-free patient environment.
  • Assist with basic activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Document patient status and activity during the shift, ensuring accurate and clear communication with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in hospital or departmental performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
  • 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
