Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Safety Attendant to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a direct line of sight with patients at all times, including during family and visitor interactions.
  • Accompany patients during transportation, testing, and procedures to ensure their safety.
  • Establish a safe patient environment by utilizing knowledge of fall prevention protocols, infection control measures, and self-harm prevention.
  • Create clear and accurate documentation of patient status and activity during shifts.
  • Perform other duties as needed, including assisting nursing staff with tasks such as transporting patients and delivering equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (obtained within 60 days of hire or start in position).
